Willette's poster for the pantomime "L'Enfant Prodigue" (the return of the Prodigal Child) for the music publisher Biardot. In the1896 book “Les Affiches Illustrees” the French poster collector and historian Ernest Maindron called Willette’s design for “L’Enfant Prodigue,” a “masterpiece” and a “revelation.”
