The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio consists of a hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers of our time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries, as a tribute to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of his death, 1901-2001. Initiated by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners' Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum of Albi. The printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited in major museums and galleries around the world.

 

The Designer - Katsoniko Hibino

 

Artist. Born in 1958 in Gifu, Japan, Hibino has been one of the most renowned contemporary artists in Japan since his debut in 1982. From designing products, doing performance, to creating stage settings, he constantly expands his creative activities in the fields of art and design.

 

 Beside taking part in Sydney Biennale in 1986 and Venice Biennale in 1995, Hibino has held a number of exhibitions in Paris, Brussels and other parts of the world, as well as his homeground of Japan. The winner of 1983 Tokyo Art Directors Club Prize and 1999 Mainichi Design Award, most prestigious design awards in Japan, he often appears on TV and other media.
