Théophile Alexandre Steinlen To view the video 6:30 min.
It has always been very difficult to find details of Steinlen's life and work.
I have found one interesting short video, a well crafted slideshow of his work that shows the brilliance
and depth of the artist, "sans chats" (without cats). I suggest you pour yourself a glass of Bordeaux,
sit back and enjoy, along with the piano soundtrack, and witness the genius of Steinlen, from his early
days of prolific Magazine illustration to his gorgeous fiqure studies, including many works of all styles that
I promise you've never seen before! Greg
